Trend… Stripes!

A sure sign of Spring is a classic navy and white stripe shirt but this Spring, many more stripes are being seen with interesting layers added on, like a floral scarf, a knit striped vest or striped jeans with a striped top.  Check out some of my favorites below and a few links to help you find your favorite stripe!


News… Raf Simons to Head Up Dior

After much speculation about who would be the designer to replace Galliano at Dior, Raf Simons is the man.  His first collection for Dior will be in July for the Fall Couture shows in Paris.

Singer Sewing Company introduced a new sewing machine to commemorate it’s 160th anniversary. The new machine finds it inspiration from its past but has several modern touches.

Jonathan Adler opened his first store in the Uptown neighborhood in Minneapolis last week.  It is located at 1439 West Lake Street.

Penguin Classics celebrated 65 years by featuring embroidered cover art by artist Jillian Tamaki for a few of it’s namesake classics like The Secret Garden and Black Beauty.
